As a Realtor, my definition of "great" centers around homes that appeal to a large number of individuals in the bazaar. These homes hold their value and appreciate over time. Here are what my clients are typically looking for.

1) Main Floor Master. Got to hold it. The other bedrooms can be upstairs. Typical arrangement 2 bedrooms up, main floor master, 4th bedroom surrounded by the basement. GREAT 4 bedroom arrangment, 2 bedrooms up, master suite and 1 other bedroom on leading floor. Make sure the room sizes are in keeping near what's typical in your nouns.

2) Master bath. 4 bedrooms imply children. Like many society, I prefer to have my own bathroom. A double sink. For several people a shower (no tub) is plenty.
