Talk to your BK attorney. My consciousness is that you are protected from foreclosure in BK, but you will enjoy to make the pay for payments.

Why ch13, if you are going to do it what is the reason to do 13 instead of 7? Lenders look at both like peas in a pod - I am not aware of the benefit of doing 13 over 7 except for the principle.

Call the mortgage company at once and ask them how much they want to be current. Get it in writing! Make sure it includes a current date, dollar to cure and a time stricture for them to receive the money. If you have it surrounded by writing send them the money certified post and in the form of a cashiers check if they are too far for you to bring it to them one-sidedly and get a getting.

I always detail my clients if you file collapse and miss a payment after you folder you will loose your home! The attorney probably did a 13 instead of a 7 because you were already belated on a payment on the house. You cannot include mortgage payments surrounded by a 7 and keep the house.
