Potential tenant requests credit report.?

I am the landlord of a private 2 family connections home on Long Island. Yesterday, while showing the apartment, one potential renter...who seemed outstandingly interested, asked me for a current copy of my credit report along with my wall info and current employee recompense stubs. It struck me a very funny and I giggle as I politely showed her to the door. She did state that her last tenant lost his house in a foreclosure...and she needed to protect herself. I told her I owned the house...no mortgage...and this could be verified by any public property search. Any thoughts? Is this something that have become common beside all the foreclosures going on?

We moved out of rented property after

No, it's not adjectives at all. She's visibly worried about getting booted out of a house again, losing a deposit, etc.

Does anyone know what the stipend is

Answers:    I hold never heard of it and your credit, income, etc is none of her business. I would own her look elsewhere. If she is willing to invade your privacy very soon it will get worse.

If she desires to protect herself she needs to buy her own place.
