How can i go and get out of my lease?
my landlord won't fix my broken stairs, still have her belongings stored in my attic, is feed illegal cable to my apartment (just found that out),walk into my house unannounced and nags me about everything possible...what can i do to receive out of this lease?
Am I allowed to enjoy two lease
Broken stairs is a safety see, and I doubt her insurance company would like it any... depending on which state, you have some option... just something like any state would require she fixes those stairs or you have rights to remedy. Some places you can progress ahead and have those things fixed yourself and discount from the next months rent. Not much you can do going on for the things in the attic unless she promised to remove them, within writing. The illegal cable can be reported to the cable co and she could return with into trouble. Without advance thought per your lease, she really shouldn't be walking into your home either! Check your lease for a clause something like advanced notice... if you don't own a lease, there is across the world a default provision contained by every state's landlord-tenant act.
I recommend approaching her if you can and explain your position other, ask her to get straight on these issues and consequently hand her a copy of written request giving her 10 days (or doesn`t matter what is legal surrounded by your state) to fix the problem. If it is not resolved you may have remedy to sue for breach of contract. Most cities own a tenant assistance program or organization. Search for it and they will help out you take the subsequent step. You may not have to move out any. You may just gain free rent and possibly damages depending on the laws within your state. GOOD LUCK.
Credit check for apartment/townhome?
First, read the lease. Look for the section on Landlord's (Lessor's) responsibilities, or warranty. You may find something that he has breached contained by the contract that would give you an out.
Most lease have a "softness enjoyment" clause. Your Landlord entering the leased premises in need advance consideration would be a breach of this.
You may forfeit your deposit, but he would have no grounds to come after you for the remainder of the lease. Make sure you dispense him a 'Notice of Termination' letter citing your grounds for termination, and hang on to a copy for yourself.
