I know lots of ethnic group who sold Avon and didn't make money but from what i understand it solely cost $10 to start so is it worth it to you to spend the $10 to give it a try?
My Mary Kay sales director sold it for years and have a hard time making any money she has since be with MK for 5 years was competent to quit her full time job within a year as be I and she has had 3 free cars so even if i.e. not your goal it gives you an indication of the possibilities.

If your going to capture into selling things to people to make money while your surrounded by college or after, I suggest you get involved in a business where on earth it's high in emergency. Partner up with a company that will give you a residual income sour of a product or service that you sold one time before. Example in the telecommunications industry. Use the cellular phone industry for one, everytime you refer someone over and the carry onto a contract on one of the major providers, or upgrade and extend their current contract, the company gives you a percentage of their billings respectively month, same thing with the Internet services, Local and Long distance cell phone services, Satellite TV services etc. All telecommunications services. You can work it around your school schedules. That's what my husband and I did over six years ago, and we turned it into our home base business. Running it out of our home while our kids are in school. Pretty simple to do. There is plentifully of money involved in this industry.
Now, if you want to stay with the product up sales, I don't know what to tell you around Mark. I've never heard of that company. Avon has be around for years, and so has Mary Kay, but your limited to who you will be selling to. That's in the region of the only con I know of. I don't know what their compensation plan is like, so I can't convey you.
