Are within any scheme to help out first time buyers?
I'm wanting to buy a house in Southsea, Portsmouth. I own a lb7k deposit which for the price of houses around here is only classed as 5%. Are here any schemes that anyone know of that could help me grasp another lb7k as i've been told i can definately attain a mortgage if i have a 10% deposit?
My credit rating is impossible so a loan is out of the question unless you know of any specialists!

i've hear of internet lenders called Zopa, uncommon it myself, but they claim not carry out any credit checks because you borrow from individuals base on trust. have you considered buying near a friend...hope that helps, accurate luck
in good health im having to resort to bring back ting a dodgy mortgage as our credit rating is terrible.u as a rule have to wages them a couple of grand at the most and they produce wage slips for u,they cover any unpromising credit u may have sawell!but u can simply do this if u know a dodgy mortgage adviser..lots of my friends hold done this so i know it isnt too good to be true

try GMAC they don't ask many question about employment not sure more or less bad credit though. they do charge a complex lending charge for 95% mortgages though. another road is to get a brilliant deposit, which basically medium if you get a house for smaller amount than its worth you may be able to use the rest of the amount as a virtual deposit. take a mortgage advisor they know loads. going through it myself now
